Sven Mislintat: Dembele is like two sides of a coin
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Former Borussia Dortmund’s Talent Guide, Sven Mislintat, thinks Ousmane Dembele is like two sides of a coin. The 22-year-old has great potential but is also difficult to control.
Dembele defended Dortmund in 2016/2017 and he became the hero of his team with a single goal in the DFB-Pokal final.
The player then went on strike because he was determined to move to Barcelona. Dortmund finally blessed his move and also got a profit of 100 million pounds from the transfer. Unfortunately, in Barcelona, the Frenchman failed to shine.
“Ousmane, as I have said many times before, in a certain sense, he is a bandit,” Mislintat told Die Welt.
“If you understand it and support it, he can help you win the match alone. It helps Dortmund to be successful, but it also means that if he wants to go to Barca, he will do everything to make it happen.”
“And talented players who might have a slightly complicated character barely have a chance to reach the top, but often these players are the real winners,” Mislintat added.
This season, Dembele has just defended Barcelona in matches in all competitions with a contribution of goals and assists.
