DBasia.news –  Bayern Munich striker, Thomas Mueller, is reportedly in demand by Manchester United. But Bayern Munich’s director of sport, Hasan Salihamidzic, insists his team will not release Thomas Mueller in the transfer market in the winter.

For the past few weeks, Mueller has been rumored to be unhappy at Bayern. He has no place under Niko Kovac’s care this season.

Mueller is reportedly considering a new club. Later the player is being linked with Manchester United and Inter Milan.

Salihamidzic finally opened his voice regarding rumors of Mueller’s departure in the transfer market next winter. Der Bavarians is not considering releasing Muller soon.

“That’s the story you want to write (Muller will be sold). We have had two players absent for months and you are trying to tell us to sell players. There is no reason to do this,” Salihamidzic told Sky Sport, referring to the absence of Niklas Sule and Lucas Hernandez.

Mueller has been a spare tire since the arrival of Philippe Coutinho. However, Salihamidzic believes the two can play together.

“Coutinho is developing on the left side at Liverpool, he can play in different positions. Of course, he likes to play in the middle. Mueller and Coutinho are top players,” Salihamidzic added.
