Targetting AS Roma Midfielder, Man United Prepared High Salary

DBasia.news – Italian media Corriere dello Sport reported Manchester United really want to sign AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini and prepared a high salary to sign him.

Manchester United didn’t do the maneuver during the transfer market. Consequently, they faced the difficulty qualifying for the top table of Premier League and haven’t secured the ticket to Champions League.

The situations make Jose Mourinho as the manager submitted some names to the management. One of the targets is AS Roma midfielder, Lorenzo Pellegrini.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Pellegrini’s agent, Giacomo Pocetta, has met Manchester United’s director in London on Sunday to see the offer. Later, the agent will bring the proposal to AS Roma.

Not only doubling Pellegrini’s current yearly salary around 1 million euro, but Man United also would activate the release clause worth 30 million euro.

This fact makes Roma’s sporting director, Monchi, took a quick decision. He won’t lose the midfielder after selling Radja Nainggolan to Inter and Kevin Strootman to Olympique Marseille this summer.

Currently, Monchi is pursuin Pellegrini to sign the new contract to eliminate the release clause, or at least upgrading it significantly.

Lorenzo Pellegrini is one of the future players for Italy national team. This season, the 22-year-old player has scored 2 of 5 assists from 13 matches.
