The coronavirus pandemic is starting to leave European football. One of them is in Italy. The local government allowed fans to watch live at the stadium.
Based on the latest guidelines, areas in the white zone will get permission to open up to 50 percent capacity in open arenas. The regulation is also a breath of fresh air for Serie A which will start on August 21st.
That way, clubs such as Inter Milan and AC Milan which are based at the San Siro can be supported by their supporters up to 37,961 spectators or 50 percent of the stadium’s capacity. Meanwhile, Lazio and AS Roma who have a house at the Olimpico will get 36,630 spectators. The San Siro and the Olimpico are the two largest stadiums that are home to Serie A clubs.
However, according to Italian Football, the conditions for entering the stadium are not arbitrary. Spectators must have a Green Pass to be able to see their favorite club compete live.
