DBasia.news –  Neymar’s transfer from PSG (Paris Saint-Germain) to Barcelona has taken public attention lately. Kieran Maguire, analyst at Sky Sports, also observed the matter and assessed the conspiracy behind the transfer saga.

The issue of Neymar’s transfer to Barcelona became one of the public talks of football. The Brazilian national team player is rumored to not want to stay at PSG with a number of considerations.

Neymar considered, PSG is not the right club to make him occupy the top of the best players in the world. In addition, Neymar has also begun to fade as Kylian Mbappe’s appearance is more apparent.

PSG reportedly did not close the door for Neymar to leave. Moreover, Les Pariens was also furious with Neymar’s absence to practice without clear reasons.

However, so far there is no concrete steps that has been done by Barcelona or PSG. From all of the circulating news, there is no certainty behind it.

Maguire considered that PSG deliberately fueled the issue of Neymar’s departure to keep burning. Paris Saint-Germain hopes they can benefit from the commercial side.

“Neymar has 122 million followers on Instagram. When he left PSG, he added 5 million followers to Les Parisiens account,” Maguire said.

“PSG used Neymar’s fame and position on social media to get a lot of agreements with sponsors. That would help them cover expenses in the transfer market and salaries,” Maguire continued.

On the other hand, Maguire assessed Barcelona would also benefit from outside the field. As Neymar has a big name.

“So, Neymar’s departure will make PSG have a financial loss. Meanwhile, Barcelona will view it as an investment as Neymar is very well known throughout the world as a brand.

Neymar currently holds the title of the most expensive player in the world after leaving in 2017 with a dowry of 222 million euros. Reportedly, PSG has set a price of 300 million euros for the former Santos player.
