The League Cup is Important for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Manchester United have reached the quarter-finals of the League Cup. That has made Ole Gunnar Solskjaer even more determined to bring his team out as champions. Solskjaer also stressed that the League Cup was crucial for his youth team at Manchester United.

As is known, United have reached the quarter-finals and will meet Colchester United at Old Trafford, Thursday (12/19) AM.

Ole’s ambition is to bring his team through to the finals and or become champions in order to form the mentality of the players.

“It’s massive for every player to win their first trophy, no matter what trophy,” Ole said at a press conference session.

“I remember when Patrice Evra and Nemanja Vidic won their first trophy – I think it was against Wigan (Athletic) in the final.

“Of course, they will have that (champion) feeling and, when you have a winning mentality, it will make you addicted. In this group, we have several players who have won, but only a few. So, for us, (the League Cup champions) this will be fantastic.

“There must be passion. Now the target is the semi-finals and then you are not far (from the trophy). So, their motivation and attitude must be right at the coming game. “
