DBasia.news –  Manchester United eight consecutive victories of all competitions ended in the match against Burnley at Old Trafford on the 24th-week of Premier League, Wednesday (30/1).

In the 2-2 match, the host unexpectedly got left behind with two goals from Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood at 51′ and 81′. But, the fortune was still on United because they could score two goals after Paul Pogba and Victor Lindelof scored the goal in the remaining time.

There are some interesting stories in this match, one of them is Anthony Martial’s absence in the squad, whether it’s in the starting eleven or bench.

The public was surprised why the French player got eliminated. On the other hand, Martial is in his best performance and always included in the main squad along with Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.

Won’t let the speculation grows bigger, Solskjaer revealed the reason.

“He got a slight injury in training but hopefully he’ll be back for next weekend,” Solskjaer said cited by Independent.

“There was no chance he could play today so it was easy enough to put Romelu on the pitch,” the Norway man added.

The draw result against Burnley is a disadvantage for Manchester United, even though they are still preserving the unbeaten record under Solskjaer. But, they failed to follow Arsenal in the fifth position. They have two points gap because at the same time Mesut Ozil and friends also defeated Cardiff City.
