Thiago Silva wants the Champions League trophy as his farewell gift with PSG

DBasia.news – Paris Saint-Germain captain, Thiago Silva will work hard to make his team win the Champions League title. He will present the trophy as a sweet farewell gift for him to PSG.
Thiago Silva managed to lead PSG to the 2019/2020 Champions League final. This certainty was obtained after Les Parisiens defeated RB Leipzig 3-0 Estadio da Luz, Lisbon, Portugal, in the semifinals, Wednesday (19/8/2020) AM.
This will be Silva’s last final with the French capital club. The reason is, the 35-year-old player’s contract with PSG will expire after this season’s Champions League is complete.
He will end his service for eight seasons with PSG. Since joining from AC Milan in 2012, Silva has appeared in 314 matches for PSG, presenting 23 titles.
But among the 23 titles, Silva has not even once led PSG to win the Big Ear trophy. Therefore, he is determined to present a farewell gift to PSG in the form of the Champions League title.
The trophy that has been coveted by him since joining the team based at Parc de Princes.
He emphasized that his focus is now fully on welcoming the final match. Silva did not want to discuss which club he would anchor to after leaving PSG.
“I choose not to talk about (my future) because it will not help us for now,” explained Silva as quoted from the official UEFA website.
“The final will be my last match. I hope to use it to win one last title. I came here in 2012 to achieve that,” he stated.
