DBasia.news –  In two matches, titled El Clasico, Real Madrid lost to Barcelona in the Copa del Rey and La Liga.

They continues to failed to take advantage of the host status and returned to swallow defeat with a score of 1-0. Ivan Rakitic’s only goal in the 26th minute made a difference in this match.

Responding to two consecutive defeats that must be received by El Real from his eternal rivals, the team’s main goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois also gave his comments. He also highlighted the team’s front-line performance filled with Karim Benzema, Vinicius Junior and Gareth Bale.

“To be able to win a match, of course you have to be able to score goals. It can’t be done by Real Madrid when meeting Barcelona in the last two matches,” Courtois said as quoted by Sport English.

“The team’s final settlement is not good, on the other hand, Barcelona can always dispel a number of golden opportunities that are created. The ball is difficult to get into the goal. In the last two matches, both teams (Barcelona and Real Madrid) are on the same level. But if you fail to score, surely you will lose, “he added.

The defeat of Ernesto Valverde’s squad is indeed detrimental to Los Merengues, although it remains in third place, the opportunity to win the La Liga trophy seems to be increasingly difficult to make happen, as they are now 12 points adrift of Blaugrana who is solid at the top.

Now El Real will immediately shift their focus to the next match, namely the second leg of the last 16 Champions League against Ajax Amsterdam which will take place at Santiago Bernabeu, Wednesday (6/3) WIB.
