Thibaut Courtois Speaks of Real Madrid’s Victory over Levante

By db-admin

DBasia.news –  Real Madrid almost lost three valuable points when they hosted Levante in the fourth week of LaLiga at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Luckily, Los Blancos – Real Madrid’s nickname – managed to maintain excellence until finally winning a narrow 3-2 score at the end of the fight. Despite succeeding in securing three points at home, Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, regretted his team’s final results.

The Belgian goalkeeper assess that Madrid can win with a more convincing score even up to 5-0 or 6-0. This was expressed by Courtois as he felt his team played very well, especially in the first round.

“The score changed to 3-1 then 3-2 and we know we can’t lose any more points. In the end, I was able to make a rescue that saved us. “If we keep playing like in the first round, I’m sure we could have won 5-0 or 6-0,” Courtois said, from Marca’s website.

“We played our best 45 minutes this year, but this is how football is. Levante changed their playing style and our passes lacked precision. We thought of clean sheets at half-time,” he added.

“Sometimes we have to continue the match in the second half in the same way, but we failed to do so after the break,” concluded the former Chelsea goalkeeper.
