DBasia.news – AS Monaco management took a surprising decision. They suspended Thierry Henry status as the head coach.
Radamel Falcao and friends would be handled by the coach assistant Franck Passi.
“AS Monaco announces that it has decided to suspend first-team coach Thierry Henry. Franck Passi will train the professional group this Friday,” said the club statement.
The decision was taken just a day after Monaco eliminated from Ligue 2 club, FC Metz, from Coupe de France. Playing in their own home, Stade Louis II, Thierry Henry squad defeated 1-3. That’s worsen their home match record so far.
The failure also worsens Thierry Henry’s record with Les Monegasques. Appointed as the successor of Leonardo Jardim on October 13th, 2018, he just presented four victories of 20 caps. The rest, Falcao and friends got the draw and 11 defeats.
It’s rumored Monaco management is trying to persuade Jardim to return to Stade Louis II.
