Threatened to Be Fired, Mauricio Pochettino Is Not Afraid
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur crushed Brighton & Hove Albion with a score of 0-3 in the continuing Premier League match. The two goals from Brighton was scored by Aaron Connolly and one by Neil Maupay.
Tottenham have not been able to get back after losing 2-7 to Bayern Munich in the previous match. This defeat was also made worse after the main goalkeeper and their captain, Hugo Lloris, suffered an injury when they failed to clear the ball which produced the opening goal scored by Neil Maupay in the third minute.
Despite returning to defeat and increasing pressure, Mauricio Pochettino as the Spurs manager is not worried about his potential to be fired even though last season he hass played a role in the success of his team reaching the Champions League final round.
“No, I do not feel worried about the potential for dismissal, I can only feel worried about what is in life as a whole, not football. I don’t want this to produce a different interpretation, but only life can make me feel scared, not football. “
“Football requires us to always be strong, make decisions, and be responsible when we are not in a satisfactory situation,” Mauricio Pochettino told a news conference as quoted by Goal.
Pochettino said that criticism given to him must be accepted, just as when he and his team receive praise. The Argentine manager insisted that what he and his team could do right now was to try as much as possible to get out of their downturn.
