Alexander-Arnold
DBasia.news – Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was absent when Liverpool defeated Manchester United with a 3-1 score in the Premier League match. He got an hamstring injury. Alexander-Arnold also might absent when Liverpool play against Wolverhampton Wandereres on the 18th-week of Premier League, Saturday (22/12). Jurgen Klopp confirmed that.
“It looks surprisingly good. I think Wolves will be a bit too early but after that we can think about him,” Klopp said in the club’s official website.
“He needs to train, so far he doesn’t train. Pain goes down second by second which is good. The moment he can deal with it, he is on the pitch, and the moment he is on the pitch, we can make the decision. Now it looks good for Trent.”
It means Arnold might play in the match before the Boxing Day against Newcastle United. Liverpool are now having defender crisis after Joe Gomez and Joel Matip injured.
Arnold’s return would be a good news. Moreover, December is the most hectic month for Premier League clubs because they don’t have the winter break like other Europe clubs.
