Vinicius Junior is said to be Brazil’s Icon

DBasia.news –  Former Brazilian national team player Rivaldo made a compliment to Vinicius Junior. The Barcelona legend believes that Vinicius has the potential to become an icon of the Brazilian national team in the future.

Two years ago, Vinicius stole the attention of the Brazilian public. At the age of not even 17 years old, he has already made his debut in the Flamengo Senior team and performed regularly at the Brazilian giant.

The player’s name became more global after Real Madrid officially brought him in on May 23, 2017. He was purchased with a 46 million Euro dowry, where he joined the El Real squad in 2018 when he was 18 years old.

Rivaldo admitted he was very impressed with the rapid development that Vinicius showed. He believes the young man will become the new icon of the Brazilian national team in the future.

“Who is the next big Brazilian player? I think that’s Vinicius,” Rivaldo said.
