Wayne Rooney Considers Shifting to the World of Coaching

DBasia.news –  Wayne Rooney has entered the end of his career. After making history with Manchester United, Rooney spent the rest of his career in the United States with DC United since 2018.

The player who plays as the attacker has begun to think about what he will do after ending his career as a professional football player. Currently Rooney still has a contract with DC United which will end in 2021.

Rooney revealed that he had gotten several offers to become coaches after ending his career as a professional football player even though he did not have the necessary licenses.

“Of course I have considered the possibility of becoming a coach. I am trying to get the necessary license and when I retire I will see what opportunities I can take. There are already a number of offers but I still have a career as a player now and still want to enjoy this moment, “Wayne Rooney said in an interview quoted from Goal.

Rooney highlighted his former England team-mates such as Frank Lampard who claimed he would soon become a Chelsea manager, John Terry who became assistant coach at Aston Villa, and Scott Parker at Fulham as manager. Rooney feels that he can get inspiration from them.
