Winning the Treble Not Just a Dream for the President of Barcelona

DBasia.news –  Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu, sincerely hopes that his club will reach the third treble in history.

Lionel Messi and his mates are currently 11 points ahead of Atletico Madrid in second place. With seven games remaining, Barcelona have a big chance of becoming champions.

Barcelona’s chances of reaching the treble are still wide open at the moment. Ernesto Valverde’s side play in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and Copa del Rey.

“Barcelona is not just dreaming of winning the treble. We are fighting hard to be able to realize that dream,” said Josep Maria Bartomeu.

“At present, Barcelona must fight as there are still seven points to be achieved. Atletico Madrid in second place is not an easy opponent, they are a great team that are not easy to give up,” continued Bartomeu.

Previously, Barcelona have won the treble twice. First when handled by Pep Guardiola in 2008-2009, then when Luis Enrique became coach in 2014-2015.
