DBasia.news –  Interesting statistics have revealed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic, LA (Los Angeles) Galaxy striker, has scored more goals than Manchester United’s strikers. Even though he is 37 years old.

According to records in the AS, which counts Ibrahimovic’s 22 matches since MLS (Major League Soccer) rolled out in March 2019, the Swedish striker has scored 22 goals. In that period, since March, Man United has played 23 matches between the Premier League, Champions League and trial matches.

The results were interesting, all of Man United’s attackers scored a total of 18 goals in their division: Marcus Rashford (eight goals), Anthony Martial (six goals), Mason Greenwood (two goals), and former United striker Romelu Lukaku (two goals).

Even if three goals were added by Daniel James, United’s new-wing striker from Wales, United’s total goal was 21 goals and there were still under Ibrahimovic. The statistics show that Ibra’s prime condition is maintained despite him being 37 years old (in October he will be 38 years).

Indeed, MLS’ level of play with the Premier League is far different. Even so, Ibra has proven it when strengthening Man United in 2016 to 2018.

His second season was mostly spent in the infirmary because of injuries, but in the first season Ibra scored 20 more goals in all competitions, played well under Jose Mourinho, and presented the League Cup, Community Shield and Europa League titles.

Ibrahimovic recently tempted Man United to re-recruit him, bearing in mind that United were short of front-line players after Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku left.

“I can still easily play in the Premier League. If Manchester United needs me, they know where to go,” Ibrahimovic said.

“Even so, at the moment I am a LA Galaxy player. So, no, sorry. I have done my work in Europe and enjoyed it.”

“I have 33 trophies and took them to a career in the United States. I hope to add a trophy from here and see the end of this adventure.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was originally pessimistic on Ibra being able to return to Old Trafford, but in football everything could happen.
