AC Milan Targets Fabio Quagliarella Seriously

Fabio Quagliarella

DBasia.news – AC Milan are looking for the player after the successful signing of Lucas Paqueta from Flamengo. Failed to sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic to San Siro, Milan are now eyeing Fabio Quagliarella.

Milan, who are still struggling for the Champions League and play in the Europa League, need an additional player to reach the target of Gennaro Gattuso squad.

Having Patrick Cutrone and Gonzalo Higuain is not enough for Rossoneri. The team are too dependent on Higuain’s accuracy, meanwhile, Cutrone still has to learn a lot from the experienced player like Higuain.

Milan were aiming Ibrahimovic, but according to the Sporting Director, Leonardo, Ibra won’t come to San Siro and chose to stay in Los Angeles Galaxy.

The hunt moved to some targets and finally to the 35-year-old striker, Fabio Quagliarella. Despite his age, Quagliarella is the right solution for Milan to achieve the target this season.

Ibra is no longer the target. However, former Napoli CEO Pierpaolo Marino suggested Milan sign Sampdoria striker, Fabio Quagliarella.

“Milan needs to have at least another striker in their side. After Ibrahimovic’s refusal, Quagliarella could be a good name for them,” said former Napoli CEO Pierpaolo Marino.

Why Quagliarella Is Suitable for Milan

Age is just a number for Quagliarella. Statistically, the former player of Juventus and Torino has scored 8 goals in Serie A and also assists to the teammates.

He is experienced and has the quality. The two things are important for Quagliarella. Milan tried to sign him last season but canceled. Now, they are communicating with Quagliarella’s agent, Beppe Bozzo, to complete the transfer process.

Calciomercato reported Milan would include the young right-back from the academy, Raoul Bellanova, as part of Quagliarella’s transfer on January 2019.
