DBasia.news – Liverpool’s new goalkeeper, Adrian, is very impressed with Liverpool’s back line. Adrian described the strength of the back line of the Reds like animals.
Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, are Jurgen Klopp’s main quartet at Liverpool’s back line. Last season, Liverpool had the best defense in the Premier League and conceded 22 goals.
Adrian, who came after playing for six years with West Ham United, praised the quartet and felt security with the protection they provided.
“It’s very easy to play with them (Liverpool’s back line) in front of you as they are the best defenders in the Premier League (2018/19 season) and we have the best defender in the world (Van Dijk),” Adrian said as quoted by Goal.
“I think, for me as a goalkeeper, they make easy decisions. To be honest, they defend everything like animals! (Wild and ferocious) They really helped me.”
“I have played a lot against them (Liverpool attackers), so now I play with them and I enjoy the way they play in building attacks from behind.”
Not only establishing strong communication on the playing field, Liverpool defenders are also good friends off the field.
“I am really happy for them as they are doing very well, they have great connections. They are good individuals individually, but they are also friends in the locker room and you can see that feeling on the field,” concluded Adrian.
