Dele Alli

DBasia.news – The huge duel between Tottenham Hotspur against Liverpool at Wembley will start the rivalry in the fourth-week of Premier League. The match will be conducted on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at 6.30 pm.

Both teams just adrift three points. Liverpool are leading the standing with 12 points by sweeping out the victories in four initial matches. Meanwhile, Tottenham are in the fifth rank with nine points, after defeated 1-2 by Watford in the third week.

Tottenham tried to revive while playing against unbeatable The Reds this season. Unfortunately, Tottenham squad condition under Mauricio Pochettino is weak due to the injuries of four players: Dele Alli, Hugo Lloris, Juan Foyth, and Moussa Sissoko.

The absence of two former names is worrying the supporters due to their important role within the squad. Alli got a hamstring injury when supporting England national team in the international break when The Three Lions got defeated 1-2 against Spain in UEFA Nations League.

The 22-year-old player felt the pain against Spain, but he kept on playing. Not only misses the match against Liverpool, Alli also has big possibility to miss the match next week against Inter Milan for the Champions League

Hugo Lloris

“He’s a little, but unlucky. He suffered a small injury after 20 minutes in the game against Spain at Wembley. We are disappointed because we are going to miss him for this game and maybe against Inter in the Champions League,” Pochettino said quoted from AS.

“The most important thing is it is not a big issue and we hope Dele can be available as soon as possible,” the Argentinian manager continued.

The same thing goes for Lloris. The Tottenham captain got injured in his leg after the match against Manchester United last month. Lloris missed the match against Watford and France national team in the international break.

Lloris just got 50,000 pounds fine and driving ban for 20 minutes after being completely drunk while driving. He will absent until some upcoming weeks.

“Now he is going to do another scan to try and see how much he is injured. Hopefully, everything is going well and he can be back as soon as possible, like Dele,” Pochettino expects.

Pochettino and other managers won’t expect the injuries because now is the tight period in the Premier League and Champions League. Besides, Tottenham don’t have the depth squad due to no newcomer this summer.
