DBasia.news – Juventus will visit Wanda Metropolitano, the headquarters of Atletico Madrid, in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 on Thursday (21/2) at 3:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time. Massimiliano Allegri, Juve coach, wants his team to score away in the match.
Juventus looked at the match against Atletico Madrid positively. Joao Cancelo and his friends won a 3-0 victory against Frosinone in the 24th match of Serie A 2018-2019, at Allianz Stadium, Saturday (16/2) local time. Three goals from La Vecchia Signora are still created by Paulo Dybala, Leonardo Bonucci and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Despite this, Allegri considered it was not an easy matter to achieve a positive result against Atletico Madrid. Moreover, Juventus will play in front of tens of thousands of Los Rojiblancos supporters.
“The team is in very good condition. This is a two-legged challenge against a team that is very strong physically,” Allegri said as Soccerway reported.
“Atletico played very aggressive football when they played at home. They were a team that had remarkable results in many years back,” said the coach.
“This will be an open match. We have plenty of opportunities to go as they do. The first thing we have to do is to score in Madrid. It will determine our qualification,” Allegri said.
Atletico Madrid’s duel against Juventus is predicted to be tight. In the two previous meetings, Atletico were ahead with one win. Meanwhile, one other match took place as strong.
