Alonso: Too Early to Rule Chelsea Out of the Competition

DBasia.news – Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso assumed it’s too early to rule The Blues out of the champion title competition. He believes his team would revive in the remaining season.
Chelsea defeated 1-2 from Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium this week. Due to the failure, The Blues are 10 points behind Manchester City as the leader.
Despite the distant point, Chelsea must not rule out from the title race. “It’s too early to talk about it, obviously. If we lose [on Saturday] we are going to be 13 points from the top and that’s a lot of points but we have to think, prepare for the game well, and not pay attention to the table at the moment,” Alonso said.
“We are very disappointed after the defeat but it is back to work and we will work harder and start playing better as a team,” Alonso added.
Alonso has been playing for The Blues in 17 matches of all competitions this season. He also scored one goal and five assists.
