DBasia.news –  Alvaro Arbeloa, as a former Real Madrid player, tried to give advice to his former team about the policy in the transfer market next summer. According to him, Madrid does not need to spend crazily on players.

Real Madrid are struggling this season. Luka Modric and his mates were eliminated from the Champions League and Copa del Rey. Meanwhile, Los Blancos is also struggling to catch up with Barcelona at the top of the standings.

Zinedine Zidane, who came on to replace Santiago Solari, is reported to have prepared a number of ways to get out of trouble. One of them by bringing in many star players. Reportedly, Madrid are monitoring Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Eden Hazard to Christian Eriksen.

However, Arbeloa considered the squad revolution is not the right way. He believes that there are not many players who are better than Los Merengues currently.

“I see troops that are difficult to improve. Outside of Real Madrid, there are not many players who can improve the club at this time,” Arbeloa said as quoted by El Chiringuito.

“The word revolution is not suitable for me. They are the same players who won four Champions League titles. I don’t think the problem in Madrid is the age of the players,” said Arbeloa.

Even so, Arbeloa believes Zidane’s presence can have a positive impact on Real Madrid. The ex believes Zidane is the right figure to bring El Real to the championship track.

“For Madrid fans, he is a legend as a player and coach. There is no greater excitement for Real Madrid supporters than seeing Zidane back,” said Arbeloa.

“He inspires as he was an idol for many players. Everyone loves him. It’s easy to listen when he talks and tries to understand him.”
