Antoine Griezmann doesn’t Promise to Keep Playing in Spain

Antoine Griezmann made a surprising decision by choosing to leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the 2018-2019 season. Griezmann claimed to want to get a new challenge and win a title with a brand-new club.

Barcelona became the club most interested in the 28-year-old player. In fact, the Blaugrana has been trying to get Griezmann since the 2017-2018 season.

However, Paris Saint-Germain emerged as one of the destinations Griezmann might have visited. Moreover, PSG is reportedly likely to be abandoned by Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Antoine Griezmann asked the public to be patient regarding his future. Griezmann only wants to enjoy his career as a footballer.

“There is a need to be patient as it is only in the near future. I want the future to be decided soon, but there is a need to wait,” Griezmann stressed as reported by FourFourTwo.

“I don’t know whether to stay in Spain. Maybe, in two weeks we will know something. I just want to play football and have fun,” said the player.

Antoine Griezmann previously strengthened Real Sociedad before leaving for Atletico Madrid. He has won the Europa League, the European Super Cup to the Spanish Super Cup.
