Antoine Griezmann Fails to Leave from Atletico Madrid

DBasia.news –  The name Antoine Griezmann has returned to be the talk of the player’s transfer rumors after Atletico Madrid’s elimination in the Champions League, plus the difficulty of competing in La Liga.

After rejecting the offer given by Barca in the 2018 summer transfer market and taking the decision to stay at Wanda Metropolitano, this time Griezmann was reportedly back to being  Ernesto Valverde side’s target.

However,  Los Rojiblancos have insisted that the French striker will remain their player next season despite speculation that there are being reported.

“I can assert with very high confidence that Antoine Griezmann will remain an Atletico Madrid player next season,” Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo said in a statement quoted from the US.

This season, the 28-year-old has scored 18 goals in 40 matches in all competitions held by Atleti, a record that made Griezmann the most important player in Diego Simeone’s squad, along with Jan Oblak who plays as a goalkeeper.
