DBasia.news –  AS Roma had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Athletic Club Bilbao in the preseason trial match on Thursday (8/8) WIB. Lorenzo Pellegrini saved Rome from the defeat at qStadio Renato Curi.

In this match, the Giallorossi lagged twice and can ensure the undefeated trend as long as the preseason is maintained.

Iker Muniain scored the opening goal for the opposing team, before Aleksandar Kolarov equalized the position thanks to a beautiful free kick early in the second half.

Then Athletic regained the lead thanks to Raul Garcia’s penalty goal. But in the end, Pellegrini made sure both teams drew.

In this fight, Yuri Berchiche received a red card.

Once again, coach Paulo Fonseca provided an opportunity for all the players brought to this match to show off their ability at Stadio Renato Curi.

Like Gregoire Defrel. He played as a starter for the first time in the preseason trials. Unfortunately the French player was unlucky when he received a hard tackle from Yuri, the referee then gave a red card. Defrel was finally replaced by Edin Dzeko.

Roma themselves looked flustered when starting the game, although Cengiz Under and Diego Perotti could endanger the opponent’s defense in the first round.

In the second half, Kolarov’s entry proved to be successful in raising the team’s game, not only through his free-kick goals.

Giallorossi will return to play this weekend when the team will host Real Madrid at Stadio Olimpico for the Mabel Green Cup match.

Roma’s main Team Faces Athletic Club: Mirante (Pau Lopez); Florenzi (Kolarov), Mancini, Juan Jesus (Fazio), Spinazzola (Santon); Diawara (Cristante), Pellegrini; Cengiz (Zaniolo), Antonucci, Perotti (Kluivert); Defrel (Dzeko).
