Luis Suarez
DBasia.news – Barcelona striker, Luis Suarez is confirmed to be pulled over for 10-15 days after suffering a right ankle injury. However, the good news is that the Uruguayan player is keeping his chances down against Manchester United in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final on April 11 WIB.
The injury hit Suarez while strengthening Barcelona against Real Betis on Monday morning. In that match Barcelona won 4-1.
Suarez scored Barcelona’s third goal and released a pass for Lionel Messi. After the injury, Suarez was replaced by Carlos Arena.
That was Suarez’s 18th goal in La Liga this season. His goal collection in La Liga only lost to his team mate, Messi, who had carved 29 goals.
Barcelona will first travel to Manchester United’s headquarters in the first leg. The quarter-final second leg was held at Camp Nou on April 17 WIB. In the two matches Luis Suarez is likely to be able to return to strengthen Barcelona.
