Bayern Sporting Director Confirmed Benjamin Pavard Signing

DBasia.news – Bayern Munchen got an additional player for next season. Confirmed by the Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic, the club signed Benjamin Pavard for a five-year contract.

Benjamin Pavard is one of the brightest young defenders in Europe. He is the crucial part of France’s success in winning the 2018 World Cup.

This season, Pavard performs consistently. The 22-year-old player has been playing for 14 times in VfB Stuttgart matches.

No wonder, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Napoli are chasing his signature. But, he chose to join Bayern Munchen in the next summer transfer market.

“I can announce that we managed to get the services of Benjamin Pavard from 1 July 2019,” Hasan Salihamidzic said as cited by Calciomercato.

Not only young, but Pavard also could play in many positions of the defensive line. The former LOSC Lille often plays as the center or left defender.

Besides Pavard, Bayern are also signing the young star of Chelsea, Callum Hudson-Odoi. But, Bayern should compete with Juventus.

“He is a very interesting player whom we really want to sign. He has qualities that fit into our game. He has a lot of potentials,” Salihamidzic said.

Chelsea won’t mind releasing Hudson-Odoi in the 2019 winter transfer market. But, the offer must not be less than 30 million euro.
