Bernardo Silva: Man City vs Liverpool Match Is Crucial

Bernardo Silva
DBasia.news – Liverpool might add the points against their rival of 2018-2019 Premier League, Manchester City if they win the 21st-week match.
Liverpool who are unbeaten in the Premier League stay in the first place with 54 points, 7 points behind Man City. If Man City defeated, the gap difference would be 10 points.
Seeing how Liverpool go so far with the consistency and great defense, it’s difficult to see them losing the points in the second half. Man City attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva knows how important this match would be.
“We know the pressure is a little bit more on us. Because if we don’t win, it will be very difficult to go after them. We have to think that we have to win every game possible to try to reach them, to close the gap a little bit and that’s what we’ll try to do in the next game,” Silva told Goal.
“We know we are seven points behind and if we win it will be only four. Seven or four is very different, but we’ll put some pressure into them,” Silva added.
Furthermore, Silva knows it won’t be easy for Man City to penetrate Liverpool tight defense who just got conceded 8 times this season in the Premier League. It’s guarded by the world’s most expensive defender, Virgil van Dijk.
“They’ve had a lot of clean sheets. An impressive defense,” Silva added.
“This season they’ve been doing very well in the Premier League and the Champions League so it’s two very good teams, and we’ll try to win the game,” the Portuguese player concluded.
Liverpool Vs Man City match would be conducted at Etihad Stadium, Friday (4/1).
