Cengiz Under is Happy to Sign a New Contract with AS Roma

DBasia.news –  AS Roma winger, Cengiz Under, signs a new contract with the Giallorossi for the next four years (until 2023).

Contract Renewal

“Of course I’m very happy. I really want to stay at this club for a long time. We managed to finish this two days ago. I am very happy to continue playing here. I always say I still have a lot to accomplish here, so I’m very happy to have signed a new contract.”

“I hope this year is a successful year for us. I feel more motivated now. I also feel in very good condition. So this season I will try to give everything I have like I always do.”

“In the end, I felt that everyone had confidence in me, including the club’s top brass. As we said, the contract was signed and the problem was over. I thank everyone who showed confidence in me. This is always important to me.”

“From a soccer standpoint, I think I have improved continuously and in many ways since I arrived here. My attitude on the field is getting better. I am also slowly developing in the physical aspect.”

“Looking at the game system, it feels very different from previous seasons. I think we showed it in the match against Madrid. We can arrange neat games with operands. We began to build the game from behind. I’m sure we’ll show it in the league later.” 

“The coach really likes playing with short balls – and that’s our game. Playing on the wing will be different for me, compared to the previous system. However, as I said, I like this role and the style of play.”

“In general, the coach wants the winger to come inside to receive the ball. Now I try to get into midfield to get the ball. I always try to get in and approach my teammates. For me, this is the biggest tactical change. The coach always wants us to go inside to get the ball and help each other. I think it’s a simpler approach.”
