Chelsea Expects Discounts on Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus

Chelsea bring Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus in the 2019 winter transfer market. The Blues pay nine million euros for Higuain.

Under the agreement, Chelsea must pay 36 million euros to restore Gonzalo Higuain’s status. They have other options to pay 18 million euros to increase the loan period.

However, Chelsea intend to ask a lower price for Juventus for Gonzalo Higuain. The Blues are reportedly optimistic they will get a price reduction.

This is based on the latest financial condition of Juventus. La Vecchia Signora brought Cristiano Ronaldo with a price tag and a big salary and Aaron Ramsey who had a quite expensive salary.

If you still have Gonzalo Higuain, Juventus has an expenditure of around 18 million euros. That amount damaged the salary structure in the squad.

Even so, Gonzalo Higuain does not necessarily want to stay at Chelsea. The future of the Argentine striker depends on the fate of Maurizio Sarri.
