Christian Eriksen’s Gray Future at Tottenham Hotspur
DBasia.news – Speculation that Christian Eriksen’s transfer will continue to roll this summer. The news was heated because Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs manager, did not know anything about the fate of his players.
Eriksen, 27, has a contract expiring next year with the club he has strengthened from 2013. Reportedly, Eriksen did not want to extend it because he wanted to find a new adventure in the coming year.
Juventus allegedly want to accommodate the Danish attacking midfielder next year. At present, Eriksen is still an important part of Spurs in Pochettino’s playing plan. But, Pochettino did not know how the future of the former Ajax Amsterdam player was.
“My goal is to help all the players, my job is to support them until they decide to take a different path in their career,” said Pochettino, quoted by Sport-English.
If Eriksen leaves this summer, Tottenham cannot get new players. Because the summer transfer window has been closed in the UK.
