DBasia.news – Tottenham Hotspur performed great when they defeated Everton with a 2-6 score. The victory boosted the morality and Spurs’ chance to compete in Premier League top table.
Spurs’ victory goals were scored by Son Heung-min at 27′ and 61′, Harry Kane at 42′ and 74′, Dele Alli at 35′, and Christian Eriksen at 48′ made Everton humiliated in their home.
Despite the big victory, Spurs architect Mauricio Pochettino won’t brag about the result.
“If we are able to be consistent and able to play the way that we played then, yes, maybe we arrive at the end of April being a contender, a real contender, but it’s still a long way,” he revealed.
“I think it’s still a long way to say we are real contenders or not. We need to be cautious and go step by step and game by game. The mentality today was clear and we need to always think about the next game and try to win every game and to be in the best condition to fight for big things.”
