Diego Godin
DBasia.news – Manchester United’s hunting of the new center-back has been initiated since last summer. However, until today, there’s no new defender coming to Old Trafford.
One of the targets is Diego Godin, the current player of Atletico Madrid. But, it seems like The Red Devils must shift the target and forget the plan to sign the 32-year-old player.
Football Italia reported Godin has agreed to leave to Italia and continues his career with Inter Milan next season. Nerazzurri are benefited from the transfer because they get him free.
The speculation of Godin’s future at Wanda Metropolitano stole the attention lately. Moreover, the Uruguay player also refused the offer from Atleti.
As a matter of fact, Godin has agreed to sign the contract for two years with Inter Milan with an additional one-year as the option.
Diego Godin joined Atletico Madrid in 2010 and played in 368 matches with 25 goals and 12 assists of all competitions. His highest achievement with Los Rojiblancos is delivering the team winning the LaLiga in 2013/2014.
