DBasia.news – Real Madrid player, Eder Militao claimed to be ready to appear in the Champions League second leg match to replace the defender position left by Sergio Ramos due to the red card he received during the first leg.

The Brazilian national team player will fill the place of Ramos who has been banned from playing in the match at the Etihad Stadium on August 7. Zinedine Zidane’s team is trying to reverse the lag of 1-2 due to losing in the first leg of the top 16.

To Diario AS, the former Porto defender said he was ready to undergo opposition in front.

“This match is a great opportunity to show what I can do, and that I can be relied on in important matches,” Militio said.

“I worked hard during training and I’m sure I can play well.”

Ramos’s red card in the first leg prevented him from playing, but the captain still went to Manchester with the team.

Zidane also had to lose injured left back, Marcelo, which made him put up a defense quartet for Ferland Mendy, Militao, Raphael Varane and Dani Carvajal.
