DBasia.news –  Coach of the England U-21 national team, Aidy Boothroyd, refused to step down after failing to bring his team through the group stages of the U-21 European Cup in 2019 in Italy.

England must enter the box after losing 2-4 from Romania in the Group C match. The Three Young Lion Troops have not won points in the two matches that have been played.

Previously, England surrendered from France in the first match. Meanwhile, France and Romania already have six points and cannot possibly be pursued by England.

“The FA will determine my fate,” said Boothroyd.

When against Romania, Boothroyd claimed his team appeared dominant. However, Boothroyd criticized Romania’s play that  was considered too defensive.

“In fact, we received a lot of penalties and were not sharp when creating opportunities. That’s what happened, especially at this level of age,” continued Boothroyd.
