Real Madrid vs Valladolid
DBasia.news – Europe’s top leagues have rolled out last weekend. On Monday (11/3) early morning Western Indonesian Time, two matches that took place involving Real Madrid against Real Valladolid at LaLiga, and Sassuolo against Napoli in Serie A, Italy.
Santiago Solari’s El Real returned to the pace of victory after beating Valladolid 4-1. Coming from behind through Anuar Mohamed Tuhami’s goal, El Real got up and locked the victory through Raphael Varane’s goals, Karim Benzema’s two goals, and Luka Modric.
Madrid’s victory was only tarnished by failing to record clean sheets and playing with 10 players when Casemiro was sent off in the 80th minute. Madrid are now 12 points clear of Barcelona at the top of LaLiga.
Valladolid was supposed to have the chance to score from the spot in the match. But, Valladolid this season is not familiar with goals scored from the white point. Uniquely, on the occasion of doing five penalty kicks, including against Madrid, everything failed to produce a goal.
The five penalty kickers were Duje Cop, Michel, Ruben Alcaraz (twice), and Sergi Guardiola. Sergio Gonzalez’s side seemed to have to train their foster children in kicking penalties.
Meanwhile, from Serie A, Italy, Inter Milan returned to the pace of victory when they beat SPAL at the Giuseppe Meazza through a score of 2-0. Matteo Politano and Roberto Gagliardini scored two Nerazzurri goals.
Inter continue to compete with their city rivals, AC Milan, to take third place in Serie A, while maintaining a position in the Champions League zone from the pursuit of AS Roma, Torino, Atalanta, and Lazio.
In the other match, Napoli could only draw 1-1 against Sassuolo at the Stadio Citta del Tricolore. They were left behind through a goal scored by Domenico Berardi in the 52nd minute before equalizing with Lorenzo Insigne’s goal in the 86th minute.
As a result, Carlo Ancelotti’s side is now 18 points behind Juventus in the fight for the Scudetto title. Napoli indirectly gave the Bianconeri their eighth consecutive Scudetto this season.
