European U-17 Cup Competition Canceled

DBasia.news – UEFA announced that next year’s U-17 European Championship men’s and women’s football tournament was canceled due to the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Based on continuous monitoring of the development of the pandemic, the UEFA Executive Committee after consulting with all 55 members of the association decided to cancel and or postpone several competitions for the 2020/2021 youth national team,” the European football governing body said.
UEFA also announced that the men’s Euro U-19 will be held in July 2021 in Romania, while the women’s sector will be held in Belarus in July-August 2021.
Previously, the 2020 European Cup, the tournament which was due to be held in June this year, had been postponed a year later and will be held from 11 June to 11 July 2021.
