Failed in the Copa America, Lionel Scaloni Even Becomes Permanent Coach of Argentina

After that, the AFA appointed Lionel Scaloni as interim coach of the Argentine national team. Evidently, La Albiceleste can play nicely under the care of ex Lazio.

“Lionel Scaloni will lead the project to qualify for the 2022 World Cup. All kinds of things about the selection of players will be led by Scaloni,” the statement continued.

The Argentine national team welcomes the high target at the 2022 World Cup. La Albiceleste intends to win the event again after last in 1986.
