FC Porto Youth Team Make Achievements in the 2018-19 Youth League

DBasia.news – When the senior team dragged on achievements, the FC Porto youth team won the trophy when they won the UEFA Youth League 2018-19. Porto beat Chelsea in the final with a landslide score 3-1.
The UEFA Youth League is an event that brings together footballers from all over Europe. This event was held for the first time in the 2013-2014 season.
Throughout history, there have been four clubs that have won this event. One club had just felt the trophy in the 2018-2019 season, namely FC Porto which lifted the UEFA Youth League trophy.
FC Porto faces a more favored young Chelsea team. It’s not without reason, the Blues stepped into the final of the UEFA Youth League four times and won two of them.
The Portuguese club took the lead through Fabio Vieira’s goal in the 17th minute. The goal was scored in the 50th minute when Daishawn Redan’s goal was replied by Diogo Queiros.
Opportunities to achieve FC Porto’s win began to appear when the game ran for 75 minutes. That was after Afonso Sousa struck the Chelsea goal.
The score 3-1 for FC Porto’s excellence lasted until the whistle signaled the match ended. Young Dragoes are partying at Colovray Sports Center, Nyon.
This makes FC Porto the fourth team to win the UEFA Youth League. Aside from them and Chelsea, the other teams that have won are RB Salzburg and Chelsea.
At least, Chelsea got a little degree of entertainment. Despite not scoring at the top of the party, their attacker, Charlie Brown, became the top scorer with 12 goals.
