FFP Sanction Threatens Real Madrid
By db-admin
DBasia.news – As a result of an unbalanced financial balance, according to a report from Marca, Real Madrid is being highlighted by UEFA regarding potential violations of FFP (Financial Fair Play).
Real Madrid had failed last season. In addition to not being able to defend the Champions League title, Los Merengues also stumbled in LaLiga.
As a result, Madrid has made a number of purchases of players and spent up to 350 million euros. Eden Hazard took the biggest part as he made Madrid spend up to 100 million euros.
Unfortunately, these actions actually made Madrid face a complicated problem in the future. Based on Marca’s report, Madrid are threatened to violate the FFP agreement.
Marca explained, Real Madrid only received income of 150 million euros from the sale of players. Now, El Real is another 100 million euros away from the agreement made with UEFA.
Marca continued, in fact Madrid could suffer losses in the transfer market. However, the minus amount that can be tolerated is only 100 million euros.
That way, Madrid is expected to haul in the upcoming transfer market. Madrid plans to release players who have reached a certain age like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.
Meanwhile, related to the movement in bringing in players, Madrid needs to be more careful. Los Blancos will first resolve the difference in FFP before thinking of bringing in any newer players.
UEFA still holds to the principle of Financial Fair Play. At the start of this season, AC Milan received a ban on competing in European competition as they were unable to carry out the FFP agreement.
