Football Observatory’s Version of the Most Effective Team in Europe

DBasia.news –  The European football research center, Football Observatory, issued an interesting data in the midst of the 2018-19 season. One of the results of the study is Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as the most efficient team in Europe.

There are 35 highest competitions in Europe that are included in the Football Observatory’s research list. They collaborate with data provider sites, InStat .

According to the site, PSG was able to score every goal with 4.7 kicks on goal. Of the top five European leagues, only Borussia Dortmund are approaching PSG records with a goal per 4.80 kicks.

In England, Arsenal became the most effective team (goals per 5.79 kicks). While Barcelona is the most effective in Spain (goals per 5.45 kick). Sampdoria dominated the effectiveness in Serie A (goals per 5.86 kicks).

There are three clubs outside of Europe’s top five leagues having a record with Borussia Dortmund. The three are Young Boys (Switzerland), PSV (Netherlands), and Midtjylland (Denmark).
