DBasia.news –  The mystery of the crash of Emiliano Sala’s plane slowly began to find a bright spot. David Learmount, a former RAF instructor, was also involved in giving an assessment regarding the fall of the new Cardiff City player’s plane.

Emiliano Sala boarded the Piper Malibu plane piloted by David Ibbotson on the way from Nantes to Cardiff on January 21. The aircraft was reported to have lost contact just one hour after taking off.

After that, the search team announced that they had found a body inside the plane under the sea on Wednesday (6/2). Then, the body was taken to the Portland Port for identification.

After some time, the body was confirmed to be Emiliano Sala. Meanwhile, the pilot is still unknown.

David Learmount, now editor of consultations at the global aviation news website, said Ibbotson had not completely lost control in the accident. He told The Times it was seen from the plane debris that was not widespread.

“It didn’t really lose control. Nobody knew the plane would dive into the sea, but it didn’t pull the front of the plane up,” Learmount said.

“The accident did not occur like entering the sea at high speed. Moreover, the front of the plane was directed downward,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Agency has confirmed stopping the search process. In addition, efforts to lift aircraft from the sea were also canceled due to bad weather.

Cardiff City brought Emiliano Sala from Nantes with a 15 million euro dowry. Reportedly, Cardiff will still pay off the Sala transfer fee.
