Fred: MU Must Beat Tottenham
By news-admin
DBasia.news – Manchester United midfielder, Fred, believed his club must defeat Tottenham Hotspur in the 2018-2019 Premier League third-week. This is to prove The Red Devils as the champion candidate.
Manchester United are underestimated due to the absence in the 2018 summer transfer market. No wonder, The Red Devils just recruited three players, Fred, Lee Grant, and Diogo Dalot.
What makes it worse, from the three names, it’s only Fred who has the possibility to be Manchester United’s main player. While Lee Grant and Dalot just remained on the bench.
The speculation proved in two initial matches of 2018-2019 Premier League. Manchester United unconvincingly won against Leicester City and defeated from Brighton and Hove Albion.
Consequently, Fred asked Manchester United to revive during the match against Tottenham at Old Trafford. According to the Brasilian player, the victory will be the key to rise up.
“It’s a very important game. This week we’ve been working, focusing on this game, we want to go out,” Fred told Sky Sports.
“We want to get the win in front of our home fans. We know Tottenham are a great team, but we need to get the win if we are to aspire to win the league,” Fred continued.
At the same time, Fred also supported Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho. The 25-year-old midfielder said he is happy working together with Mourinho.
“I’m really happy to be working with Jose Mourinho he’s a great person and he’s always keen to communicate with the squad and help people to be communicative regarding what they’re to do on the pitch,” Fred added.
Man United will play against Tottenham at Old Trafford Stadium on Tuesday (28/8).
