Gareth Bale, Real Madrid’s most expensive recruit who rarely appears

DBasia.news –  Sitting on the bench a little too often seems about to be re-experienced by Gareth Bale at Real Madrid. His status is now back to being a substitute player. Even so, Bale is rumored to be staying with El Real.

“He (Bale) is 30 years old, he will be 31 next year. I don’t know how long Gareth will play. He loves Madrid. His children have been here since they were babies, they speak Spanish, believe it or not,” said Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett some time ago.

Gareth Bale has entered his seventh year playing for Real Madrid. He felt the ups and downs of the striker who brought El Real to an important victory and won the trophy, as well as the declining performance that made him teased by fans.

If last season he was teased playing golf until his commitment for the club was questioned, this season Bale suffered a different fortune as changing years. Zinedine Zidane who had trusted the player is now putting him back to the bench.

Combination of injuries and playing inconsistency have forced Bale to be absent 13 times this season. Bale has played 33.8 percent of possible minutes of play. Uniquely, according to Sport-English, Bale is the most expensive player in the club.

Bale received a net salary of 17 million euros per season (Rp. 268 billion) and is still the most expensive recruitment with a tag of 101 million euros when transferred from Tottenham Hotspur. No doubt Bale gets the most expensive substitute player status, as of the millions of euros transfer tag and has a high salary.

No wonder if Bale is ‘happy’ at Real Madrid even though he is not liked by fans and is only a substitute player. So far Bale has scored two goals in LaLiga and one in the Copa del Rey. One goal from 385 minutes or every 4.2 matches.
