Thorgan Hazard
DBasia.news – Thorgan Hazard is certain to leave Borussia Moenchengladbach later this season. This was conveyed directly by Gladbach’s Sports Director, Max Eberl.
Eberl said that he had met with Thorgan Hazard to discuss his future. “We had the intention to extend Thorgan’s contract some time ago, but he was not interested. He now tells us he doesn’t want to stay longer. Next, he wants to develop a career and leave the club,” Eberl said.
“He is still under contract until 2020 and there is no release clause. Interested clubs must offer us a commensurate transfer fee because he is an extraordinary player. If in the end, Thorgan leaves us, we will continue what we have done. Use the transfer money to buy other players,” he added.
The winger is reported to be one step away from moving to Borussia Dortmund for a fee of 40 million euros.
