DBasia.news – From the team that disrupted the struggle for the Premier League title have now became the team that struggled to survive in the top four of the standings, that is Tottenham Hotspur. Two defeats and one draw in Spurs’ last three games in the Premier League have diminished their hopes of competing in the Premier League title.
Although being the only team that didn’t bring in any new players in the last two transfer exchanges, Spurs’ mental strength remained to be in the spotlight regarding the difficulties they had experienced in recent times, even though they are currently ranked third in the standings.
This is also acknowledged by their flagship captain and attacker, Harry Kane, who feels that his team must increase their mental strength to be able to survive while facing challenging situations inside and outside of the field.
“We feel this kind of thing again, when we get pressure we must be able to have the ability to find solutions to the difficulties we experience. We have not been able to do it in the past few years, this week as well and things like this can be a differentiating factor, “Harry Kane said in an interview quoted from Sky Sports.
Tottenham got a draw against Arsenal at Wembley Stadium, defeated by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and Burnley at Turf Moor. Mauricio Pochettino’s side also need to face Liverpool and Manchester City in the remainder of the season, two matches that can have a significant influence on the team’s third ambition.
