Hazard’s Future in Chelsea Depends on Conte
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Chelsea’ midfielder, Eden Hazard, wanted clarity of who will be The Blues’ manager next season. Belgium’s national team player indicated that his career in Stamford Bridge depends on the future manager of Chelsea.
Antonio Conte’s coach is under attack. Some media reported that Chelsea’s high officials felt unsatisfied with Italy’s manager performance.
Though succeeded in achieving FA Cup title this season, the failure to enter Champions League was one big issue to fire Conte.
It seems like Chelsea is currently negotiating with Napoli’s ex-coach, Maurizio Sarri to replace Conte. But the negotiation is stuck at the moment because The Blues doesn’t want to pay the release clause to Napoli worth €8M.
In the middle of Conte’s removal rumor, Eden Hazard felt the impact. He wanted to know who will be the manager of Chelsea to decide his next step.
“Yeah, I want to know. I want to know, but like I say I am focused on the World Cup,” Hazard said in FourFourTwo.
“If we have something new – manager or players – it is always good to know it because I want players that can (help bring success back to) Chelsea next season,” he continued.
Hazard is attributed to some of Europe’s big clubs. Real Madrid was predicted to be the most serious one in proposing him. “But to be fair the transfer market is not here [in full flow] yet. We will see after,” said Hazard.
Eden Hazard performed consistently during 2017-2018 season. The 27 years old players played in 52 matches with 17 goals and 13 assists.
