Ibrahimovic Reveals Reasons for Choosing AC Milan Than Man City

DBasia.news –  Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a Swedish striker, spoke of his past when he decided to move from Barcelona to AC Milan. Ibra revealed the reason for moving to Milan, not to Manchester City.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s trip to Barcelona was not entirely smooth. Despite continuing to win the title, Ibrahimovic was not as bright as when he played at Juventus or Inter Milan.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic claimed to have gotten offers from AC Milan and Manchester City at the same time. However, the 37-year-old player chose to return to Italy. Ibra headed for Il Diavolo Rosso on loan in the summer of 2010.

“I had the opportunity to leave to Manchester City when I was at Barcelona. However, after struggling in Barcelona I needed to find happiness,” Ibrahimovic explained.

“Back in Italy, I was happy there. I knew I would be happy when I returned to Italy. I did not know whether I would be happy when I left Man Cityas  it was a different challenge,” he added.

In addition, according to Ibrahimovic, the Premier League is not the best league in the world. Ibra said, the Premier League is not like what is currently being talked about by many people.

“AC Milan will be a new club. However, I know that city because i have played at Inter Milan for three years. I know the country, so I took the safe card,” Ibrahimovic said.

During his defense to AC Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the Serie A title and the Italian Super Cup. From 85 matches, Ibra packed 56 goals plus 24 assists.
