DBasia.news – Sevilla defender Joris Gnagnon released an open apology for his violent actions against Liverpool’s youngster Yasser Larouci.
In the second half, the French defender suddenly kicked the 18-year-old player’s right leg as he was running while dribbling the ball.
Larouci finally couldn’t continue the match. He must be taken out of the field.
Meanwhile, Gnagnon himself was finally red-carded by the referee in the 76th minute. After the match ended, Virgil Van Dijk, Jordan Henderson, and Andrew Robertson appeared to come to the 22-year-old defender who was on the sidelines.
After that, Gnagnon finally issued an apology. Through his Twitter account, he admitted that the action was indeed a disgusting act.
“I want to apologize openly to the Liverpool club, the family of the players and their supporters,” Gnagnon wrote.
“This disgusting action, whatever the reason may not be seen on the soccer field. All my prayers are directed at the players and their families.”
